It's hard to have good mental health without a strong foundation of physical health.  But our physical health includes more than the basics of clean air, nutritious food, plenty of water, regular exercise and restful sleep.  As humans we also need each other.  In addition to the basics that we can sometimes take for granted, the recipe for good health includes meaningful connections with others, creativity, play, appreciation and beauty.

For many people, social media has become part of daily life.  Kids need adult support to ensure their social media is safe and child appropriate.  This article focuses on TikTok but the ideas apply to all social media apps and have easy ways parents can provide safe limits for their children at every age.

Grooming is when someone tries to build an emotional connection to win a child's trust for the purposes of sexual exploitation.
